Adventures of an * at The Museum of Modern Art as part of JazzScore April 16th to September 15th 2008
in the Titus Theater Lobby Galleries
A large-scale installation of original animation art from John and Faith Hubley's Adventures of an *(1957) - a landmark short, newly restored by the Museum, featuring music by Benny Carter - and John Canemaker's Bridgehampton (1998), featuring music by Fred Hersch. The animated works are also shown in full, both in the gallery and as part of the film series. |

In conjunction with the 10th Annual Provincetown International Film Festival, Faith Hubley's oil and watercolor paintings will be on exhibit at the Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown, MA (more info to come)
Jane Lynch will receive the 2008 Faith Hubley Memorial Award, sponsored by the Ritchie-Davis Foundation.
